Some women who have had an abortion feel as if they are all alone.  However, 33% of American women have had an abortion.  Not many of these women ever talk about their abortion. Woman with Post-Abortion Sadness Professional counselors have discovered that many women who’ve had an abortion are unable to process painful thoughts and emotions that arise from the abortion experience and they are unable to properly grieve their loss.  Even though relief is often the first emotion felt after an abortion, later on women may have trouble dealing with the loss because they may not believe they have the right to grieve a loss that they chose to suffer.

If you have had an abortion, you don’t have to feel alone!  In Grand Rapids, the Garden of Hope offers post-abortion support in the Omega House, a beautiful, accepting, and confidential location.  Hear other women’s stories of healing after abortion.  Garden of Hope also offers a post-abortion Bible Study called “Surrendering the Secret” by Pat Layton.
